Founder & Lead Photographer
With over a decade behind the lens, Dhuriyan Madhavan has built a reputation as one of Chennai's most versatile and dedicated photographers. His journey began with a fascination for wildlife — spending countless hours in forests and sanctuaries to capture nature's most fleeting moments.
That same patience and precision carried into every other genre he explored: weddings documented with cinematic elegance, portraits that reveal the soul, fashion images that command attention, and product shots that drive sales. His eye for light, composition, and authentic emotion is the hallmark of every Retina Photos creation.
Beyond shooting, Dhuriyan is a passionate educator who has conducted over 100 workshops, empowering aspiring photographers across Tamil Nadu to discover their own visual voice. His teaching philosophy is simple: understand your camera, understand your subject, and let your heart guide the frame.
